Details: This is the second product in the Wardog range, designed to ensure reliable radio communication in challenging terrain, dense urban areas and environments affected by electronic jamming.

Quote from Roboneers: "Wardog TRN is a carrier platform for relay equipment based on the Wardog series unmanned aerial vehicle. The new product complements the range previously launched with Wardog Scout, a specialised reconnaissance drone equipped with a zoom camera and GPS-stabilised navigation."
More details: Roboneers explained that while Scout provides real-time surveillance and reconnaissance, TRN performs a related role: maintaining a reliable control and video link between ground and aerial assets in areas where ground infrastructure is unavailable.
The manufacturer says the Wardog TRN can carry up to 3 kg of relay equipment as payload and deploy an airborne communications node at altitudes up to 900 m. A 2.4 GHz digital channel, combined with an optical inertial navigation system, ensures stable flight and reliable operation day and night.
"The platform is designed to perform in complex terrain, dense urban areas and environments affected by electronic countermeasures, precisely where communications systems lose coverage. Wardog TRN expands UAV control and video transmission range by functioning as an airborne relay," Roboneers noted.

The Wardog TRN has a tactical range of up to 10 km, a maximum flight altitude of up to 900 m, an endurance of up to 1 hour and a top speed of 68 km/h. The drone can carry a payload of up to 3 kg.
"The Wardog TRN and Wardog Scout are based on a shared platform and designed as complementary systems. Scout provides real-time aerial reconnaissance, detecting targets in the visible and infrared spectrums and transmitting 4K video. TRN maintains the communications link through which this data is relayed to operators and nearby UAVs. Together, they form a basic aerial surveillance loop for units operating in environments affected by electronic warfare and complex terrain," the company emphasised.
Ukrainian troops can order Scout and Wardog TRN systems through the Brave1 Market platform, a defence technology marketplace for military units, using e-Points earned by Ukrainian soldiers for confirmed strikes on Russian personnel and equipment.
Background: Roboneers previously integrated the Shablia MK-19 combat module into the Volia-E ground robotic system. It successfully passed tests, including live-fire trials and obstacle course testing.
