Drones struck the Azot chemical plant in Russia's Tula Oblast on the night of 13-14 June, causing a fire.

Details: According to monitoring Telegram channels, the Azot chemical plant in Novomoskovsk, Tula Oblast, came under a drone attack. A fire broke out at the facility following the strike.

Milyayev also reported that drone debris fell on the grounds of an industrial site.

Azot is one of Russia's largest chemical plants. Its main products include mineral fertilisers, ammonia, nitric acid, methanol and other chemical materials. In addition, the plant is used to produce raw materials supplied to military factories for the manufacture of explosives and ammunition.

Explosions were also reported in Smolensk Oblast. Railway infrastructure in the town of Vyazma was likely targeted.

Meanwhile, an apartment building caught fire in the city of Oryol.

Background: Drones previously attacked a maritime terminal in the Temryuk district in Russia's Krasnodar Krai.
