Crimean Tatar leader urges Russians to flee Crimea

Refat Chubarov, Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People, has urged Russian citizens who are illegally staying in temporarily occupied Crimea to leave the peninsula immediately.

Details: Chubarov said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been carrying out precise and effective strikes on Russian military facilities on the peninsula for more than three weeks and that the intensity of these strikes will only increase.
Quote: "I want to address separately another part of the current population of Crimea, namely those who settled on the peninsula after 27 February 2014.
Your presence in occupied Crimea with forged Russian property documents is illegal under both Ukrainian national law and international law, and all legal actions you have taken are legally null and void. You believed the Kremlin and Putin, who assured you that occupied Crimea has supposedly become part of Russia, and, by trampling on morality and the law and settling on stolen land, you willingly became accomplices to a crime. Your contempt, lack of principle and moral degradation have brought you to a dead end.
Now, as you can see for yourselves, Crimea has finally become a frontline area, and its liberation from Russian occupation forces is inevitable. There is little need to explain why you will not be able to remain in Ukrainian Crimea. However, you can still avoid inevitable punishment if you leave Crimea in time.
Every day that the Kerch Bridge remains operational is your chance to leave Crimea safely and voluntarily. Soon, there will be no such opportunity. Do not wait until the Kerch Bridge is demolished and the land corridor is finally cut off.
Do not put off your departure from Crimea until tomorrow. Pack your things and return to your homeland. Now. Later will be too late."
Details: Chubarov urged residents of Crimea who remain loyal to the Ukrainian state, especially those living near military bases set up by the Russians and critical infrastructure facilities, to think seriously about their own safety and the safety of their families and, where possible, leave those areas.
He said shortages of petrol and other types of fuel in Russian-occupied Crimea will worsen, which will in turn trigger a collapse in other sectors, primarily the trade in food and essential goods. The head of the Mejlis urged people to prepare for this situation as well.
Quote: "Please continue to take care of your personal safety. Everyone waiting for Crimea to be liberated from the Russian occupiers must live to see it in good health."
