Trump refuses to comment on Putin's responsibility for ongoing war in Ukraine

During a meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in France, US President Donald Trump refused to say that Russian leader Vladimir Putin bears greater responsibility for the fact that the war in Ukraine is still going on.

Details: A journalist asked the US president whether he believes Putin is more responsible for the ongoing war in Ukraine. Trump said he did not want to comment because he is trying to end Russia's war against Ukraine.
"I don't want to comment on that because I'm trying to get it settled, and that doesn't make it easy," Trump replied.
Speaking to journalists, Trump reiterated that he has held productive talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Putin and noted that there is not much love lost between them.
Trump declared that he has ended eight wars and thought this would be one of the easiest, but added that he believes the two leaders' poor personal relationship make resolving it much more complicated.
