Russia launches 7 Iskander missiles and 239 drones, Ukrainian air defences down 216 aerial assets
Russian forces have attacked Ukraine with seven Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles and 239 drones of various types since the evening of 17 June. Hits by two missiles and 26 drones have been reported, and 212 drones have been downed.

Quote: "Early reports indicated that as of 08:00, [Ukrainian] air defence forces had destroyed or jammed 216 aerial assets: four Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles and 212 Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas and other types of drones in the country's north, south and east. Hits by two missiles and 26 UAVs have been recorded at nine locations and the fall of downed aerial assets (debris) at seven locations. Information is being confirmed regarding one ballistic missile."
Details: The missiles were fired from Russia's Voronezh, Bryansk and Kursk oblasts, while the drones were launched from the Russian cities of Kursk, Oryol and Primorsko-Akhtarsk as well as from temporarily occupied Crimea and the parts of Donetsk Oblast under Russian control.
Aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare assets, unmanned systems units and mobile fire groups from Ukraine's defence forces have been involved in repelling the attack.
As of the morning, the attack is ongoing.
