I can answer. Your country started a war of aggression against ours. For years, it has been killing our people.

Now that you know what's going on, ask Putin when he is planning to end it."

Background:

  • On the night of 17-18 June, Ukrainian drones penetrated Moscow's layered air defence and struck the Moscow oil refinery in Kapotnya, causing a major fire at the facility. Russian media outlets have described this as the largest attack in the past two years. It is the second successful strike on a strategic Russian facility within three days.
  • On 15 June, Russia carried out yet another large-scale combined attack on Kyiv. This time, the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra (the Monastery of the Caves) was struck. A Shahed drone hit the monastery, causing a major fire in the main church – the Dormition Cathedral – which spread across 800 sq m of the roof.
  • While inspecting the damage at the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy vowed that there would be a response to this massive Russian attack.
