Russian forces launch near-daily assaults on Ukrainian border guard positions in Kharkiv Oblast

Russian occupation forces have been attempting almost daily to assault Ukrainian border guard positions near Vovchanski Khutory in Kharkiv Oblast but have so far failed to make any gains.

Quote: "The border with Russia is, first and foremost, under constant fire. This applies to Chernihiv, Sumy and Kharkiv oblasts. Most of the attacks are concentrated on the latter two regions, but Chernihiv Oblast also comes under daily fire.

As before, drones remain the primary means of enemy attacks, although artillery and aircraft are also being used.

As for attempts to advance with infantry groups, recently I can point to the front in Kharkiv Oblast, particularly in the direction of the village of Vovchanski Khutory. Over the past few days, the enemy has continued to try almost daily to storm positions held by border guard units. Fortunately, the enemy has been unable to achieve any success and is instead suffering heavy losses, with some occupiers being taken prisoner."

Details: He added that along other sections of the front line where border guards are carrying out combat missions, Russian troops have increased attempts to advance in small infantry groups on the Kupiansk front.

Russian assault operations also continue in the areas defended by Ukrainian units on the Pokrovsk front.
