Russian forces struck residential buildings in the city of Balakliia in Kharkiv Oblast on the night of 23-24 June, killing one woman and injuring another.

Details: The local authorities said the attack had targeted a residential area of the city.

Background: Russian forces regularly attack the Balakliia hromada using various types of weapons. A strike on 23 June left nine people injured and damaged cars, a post office, a hotel, a café, an educational institution, a high-rise residential building and a sports facility.
