Russian strike hits houses in Balakliia, killing one and injuring another – photos
Russian forces struck residential buildings in the city of Balakliia in Kharkiv Oblast on the night of 23-24 June, killing one woman and injuring another.

Details: The local authorities said the attack had targeted a residential area of the city.
Quote from Syniehubov: "A 56-year-old woman has been killed in the attack. Another woman, aged 21, has suffered from shock."
Details: Karabanov said rescue workers, medics and other emergency services had promptly begun work at the impact sites.
Background: Russian forces regularly attack the Balakliia hromada using various types of weapons. A strike on 23 June left nine people injured and damaged cars, a post office, a hotel, a café, an educational institution, a high-rise residential building and a sports facility.
