Ukraine hits two key Russian plants near Orenburg – photo, video

Deep Strike (long-range) units from Ukraine's Special Operations Forces (SOF) struck the Orenburg Gas Processing Plant and the Orenburg Helium Plant in Russia on the night of 23-24 June.

Details: The mission was carried out in cooperation with Black Spark, an underground resistance movement operating on Russian soil.
The Orenburg Gas Processing Plant is one of Russia's largest gas processing facilities. It stores, purifies and produces commercial gas, with a processing capacity of up to 45 billion cubic metres of gas per year.
The Orenburg Helium Plant is one of Russia's key helium production facilities. It extracts 8.8 million cubic metres of helium per year, which is used in high-technology and military industries, including missile engineering.
Users on social media reported that fires have been recorded on the territory of the facilities. The scale of the damage is being assessed.
