No mass Shahed drone flights along Belarusian border recorded by Ukraine's border guards as Zelenskyy's ultimatum about to expire

Ukrainian border guards have recorded a certain reduction in the intensity of Russian attack drone incursions via Chernihiv Oblast and no mass flights of Shahed drones along the Belarus-Ukraine border in recent days.

Mass drone incursions along the Belarusian border were recorded during two large-scale Russian attacks on the nights of 1-2 and 14-15 June.

Ukrainska Pravda has contacted the President's Office to ask whether Volodymyr Zelenskyy has been informed of any changes in the operation of signal relay equipment in Belarus, but no response has been received so far.

However, a source within military circles told UP that pauses in the operation of signal repeaters on Belarusian territory have been recorded before, so it is not possible to draw conclusions about what this may indicate at present. The UP source also noted that signal relay equipment has been actively used by Belarus during Russia's large-scale combined attacks.

Background: On 19 June, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy issued an ultimatum to self-proclaimed Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko: either remove relay equipment used to guide Russian drone strikes on Ukrainian cities, or Ukraine would do it itself. The ultimatum expires on 26 June.
