Drones attack oil depot in Russia's Krasnodar Krai for third time since early June – photo, video

Drones once again attacked an oil depot in the settlement of Poltavskaya in Russia's Krasnodar Krai overnight on 24-25 June, sparking a fire. This marks the third attack on the facility in the past three weeks.

Quote from the operational staff: "A fire has broken out at an oil depot in the settlement of Poltavskaya in the Krasnoarmeysky district as a result of the fall of debris from drones."

Details: Reports indicate that there were no casualties, and emergency and special services are working at the scene.

According to the Ukrainian monitoring channel Exilenova+, three storage tanks caught fire as a result of the drone strike.

Krasnodar Krai Operational Staff reported that the fall of debris from drones had caused a fire on the premises of a company in the city of Abinsk.

The Moscow Times reports that this is the third attack on the oil depot in Poltavskaya since the beginning of June. The facility supplies fuel to Krasnodar Krai and Adygea. It was previously struck by drones on 6 and 16 June.

The tank farm at this oil depot consists of 28 storage units.

The Russian Ministry of Defence claimed that on the evening of 24 June and the night of 24-25 June, air defence systems had intercepted and destroyed 269 Ukrainian UAVs over the territories of Belgorod, Bryansk, Volgograd, Kaluga, Kursk, Oryol, Saratov, Smolensk, Rostov, Tula and Moscow oblasts, as well as Krasnodar Krai, and over temporarily occupied Crimea and the waters of the Black Sea.
