Details: Smilianskyi reported that Ukrposhta has already repaired damage sustained overnight in Kyiv and Sumy.
"In Sumy Oblast, we are running on generators and continuing to provide services. However, the Russians did not stop their attacks during the day," he said.
"First there was a drone attack on our depot in Nikopol, where the Russians had already zeroed in on the location and destroyed seven of our vehicles. However, we have been operating on a contingency plan from an alternative location for a week, so they simply damaged the buildings out of spite. Well, we will rebuild them again," the company's CEO noted.
There were two more drone attacks in Dnipropetrovsk and Sumy oblasts. The employees sustained minor injuries, but all necessary measures have been taken and the team is now safe.
"Tonight was a difficult night across all of Ukraine. Our condolences to the families of those killed. Our support goes to our counterparts at Nova Poshta and MOYO," Smilianskyi wrote on Telegram.
Background:
- MOYO's warehouse and office were completely destroyed as a result of a Russian attack on the night of 1-2 July; the company's employees were not injured. MOYO is a Ukrainian retailer of appliances and electronics.
- A Russian Shahed loitering munition struck a Nova Poshta (Nova Post) sorting centre in Zaporizhzhia; employees were unharmed.
