Russian authorities claim Moscow has come under drone attack

Russian authorities have claimed that 16 drones were "heading towards Moscow" on the night of 3-4 July.

Details: In a manner typical of Russian officials, Sobyanin claimed that the drones heading for Moscow had been "shot down".

As usual, he did not report any consequences of the attack, saying only: "Emergency services are working at the sites where the debris fell."

Beginning at 22:45 (Kyiv time) on the evening of 3 July, Sobyanin also claimed that another seven drones heading for Moscow had been "shot down".

Update: After 03:00, Sobyanin claimed that another three drones had been intercepted.
