Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski has suggested that all of Kyiv's partners should do more as Russia continues to exploit Ukraine's vulnerability to ballistic missile attacks.

"I am proud that we, as the free world, are helping Ukraine down these missiles. Let us consider what response we would want from our allies if one of our cities were the target of such attacks," he noted.

Sikorski's remarks may also have been a response to accusations made by the leader of Poland's anti-Ukrainian Confederation party, who claimed that the government had secretly supplied Ukraine with scarce interceptor missiles for the Patriot air defence system without informing the Sejm.

In response to those allegations, Poland's Ministry of National Defence released details of the military assistance Warsaw has provided to Ukraine since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion.

Against that backdrop, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk reiterated that military support for Kyiv is a matter of broad political consensus in Poland.

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte also expressed hope that the NATO summit will bring decisions beneficial to Ukraine regarding interceptors for defending against ballistic missile attacks. Rutte also said he believed Russia's missile strike on Kyiv and Kyiv Oblast had been deliberately planned to inflict harm on civilians.
