Two people have been injured in a Russian drone attack on industrial facilities in Poltava Oblast.

Details: Russian forces attacked Poltava Oblast with drones on the evening of 6 July and on the morning of 7 July, hitting industrial facilities in the Poltava and Myrhorod districts and a railway infrastructure facility.

Poltavshchyna reported that an air-raid warning had been issued in the Poltava district at 06:57. At 07:51, Ukraine's Air Force warned of a jet-powered drone heading towards the city of Poltava from the north-east. An explosion was heard in the city at around 08:05.

At 08:49, Vitalii Diakivnych, Head of Poltava Oblast Military Administration, confirmed that Russian drones had attacked industrial facilities in the Poltava and Myrhorod districts.

Quote from Diakivnych: "Yesterday evening and this morning, enemy drones attacked industrial facilities in еру Poltava and Myrhorod districts. A drone also hit one of the premises of a railway infrastructure business in the Poltava district this morning."

More details: One person sought medical assistance following the morning attack.

Emergency workers reported fires breaking out at several locations. Despite repeat Russian strikes, firefighters extinguished all the blazes. There were no casualties.
