The Norwegian government has reaffirmed its commitment to continue providing aid to Ukraine and stated it has no intention of scaling back its support.

Details: Sandvik noted that Norway, along with the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, the Baltic states and Germany, is contributing more than its fair share to support Kyiv, while some larger European economies have done considerably less.

"I think it's not sustainable for Europe in the long run," he said.

Sandvik stressed that Norway would not reduce its assistance.

"We will still spend a lot of money in Ukraine, and we will stay in for as long as it takes," he added, calling on all European countries to intensify their efforts.
