Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has expressed his condolences following the death of US Republican Senator Lindsey Graham, saying that "America and the world have lost a determined leader".

Details: The Ukrainian president also recalled that, while advancing bipartisan and bicameral support for Ukraine, the senator had been working in recent weeks on important initiatives "that could help bring peace closer, including stronger sanctions against Russia".

"We will always be especially grateful for the recognition of our people and words of admiration for the courage of Ukraine's defenders," Zelenskyy wrote.
