Ukraine's Prime Minister Svyrydenko resigns

Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko has submitted her resignation to the Verkhovna Rada (Ukraine's parliament). The Verkhovna Rada is expected to consider the matter in the near future.

Details: Stefanchuk said parliament will consider Svyrydenko's resignation in accordance with the established procedure.
He also thanked her for serving as head of government "during an exceptionally difficult period for the country".
