Details: Macron said Ukraine and France have agreed on a roadmap for implementing the agreements the two countries concluded in November last year. At the time, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine had placed an order for 100 Rafale fighter jets.
"The first aircraft should be flying in Ukrainian skies in 2028-2029. There will also be additional radars and additional missiles," the French president said.
Macron also announced that Ukraine will receive licences to produce Aster-30 surface-to-air missiles, SCALP cruise missiles and AASM guided aerial bombs.
"All of this will strengthen Ukraine's capabilities and its position on the battlefield," he added.
