Details: Starmer said these plans had been agreed during a meeting in Paris back in January. He also stated that participating countries had prepared a broader package of robust, legally binding security guarantees for Ukraine.

He also stressed the need to continue strengthening military support for Ukraine, including reinforcing its air and missile defence, expanding defence production and supporting innovation.

Starmer also confirmed that the UK would take part in the European Union's €90 billion programme, which is intended to provide Ukraine with additional financial resources for defence planning.
