Russia hits central Kharkiv: one killed, two children among those injured
Russian forces struck the Shevchenkivskyi district in Kharkiv on the evening of 17 July. The attack has left one person dead and eight people injured, including two boys aged 7 and 2.

Quote from Syniehubov: "Sadly, one man has been killed as a result of an enemy strike on Kharkiv's Shevchenkivskyi district."
Details: Terekhov reported that the Russians have struck the city centre, damaging residential buildings.
The mayor initially reported that ten people have been injured, at least a third of whom are children.
He later clarified, citing early reports, that eight people have been injured, including two children.
Meanwhile, Syniehubov said that four people have been injured in the strike: boys aged 2 and 7 and men aged 24 and 50.
Update: Syniehubov later confirmed that eight people have been affected.
Background: On 17 July, Russian forces struck Izium in Kharkiv Oblast with a guided aerial bomb, injuring three children and a 40-year-old man.
