Ukraine reduces Russia's ferry crossing capacity in Kerch by 75%

Robert "Magyar" Brovdi, Commander of Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces (USF), has said that Ukrainian forces have disabled or significantly damaged ferries serving the Kerch crossing over the last two weeks, reducing its capacity by 75%.

Details: Brovdi stated that until recently the ferries Lavrentiy, Panagia, Yeisk and Maria were providing transport between the Kavkaz and Krym ports, with the vessel SKS One held in reserve.

Brovdi claims that the ferries Yeisk, Maria and SKS One are beyond repair or will not return to the line following Ukrainian attacks.

Lavrentiy and Panagia, according to his data, have lost the ability to move independently and are being used as barges with tugboats, which significantly reduces their effectiveness.

The USF commander noted that before the attacks, the four ferries could transport a total of 180 to 250 vehicles per day. According to him, approximately 80% of the transport was carried out in the interests of the Russian military.

Background: The day before, Brovdi said that Russia was redeploying up to 200 crews from the Rubikon unmanned systems centre from the frontline to protect vessels in the Black and Azov seas.
