Russian guided bomb strike on Zaporizhzhia: 11-year-old girl confirmed dead

It was confirmed on the morning of 20 July that a girl trapped under the rubble of a house destroyed in a Russian strike on Zaporizhzhia had died.

Details: Fedorov said that, in addition to the 11-year-old girl, two women aged 71 and 72 had been killed in the Russian attack. Forty-one people were injured.

Update: Russian forces also launched another attack on Zaporizhzhia on the morning of 20 July. The strike hit a dacha community cooperative, setting several houses on fire. [A dacha community cooperative is an association of persons, each of whom has a dacha plot within the same territory; a dacha is a summer house usually with a little plot of land where people grow vegetables, fruit trees and berries, or keep a garden – ed.]

Two people sought medical treatment.

Background: It was reported on the evening of 19 July that a Russian guided aerial bomb attack on Zaporizhzhia had killed two people and injured 42, including eight children.
