Russian forces attacked a civilian vehicle in the village of Znamenivka in Donetsk Oblast on the afternoon of 21 July, killing two people and injuring three others.

Details: At 13:25 on Tuesday, Russian forces attacked the village of Znamenivka in the Oleksandrivka hromada. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.] A civilian vehicle carrying local residents came under fire. A 76-year-old man and a 68-year-old woman were killed at the scene.

Three other people – two women and a man – sustained injuries of varying severity. They received medical assistance.

Under the procedural guidance of the Kramatorsk District Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into another Russian war crime.
