Ukrainians repel major Russian tank breakthrough attempt – video

Russian forces have made a failed attempt at a major tank breakthrough on the Dobropillia front.

Details: Drone operators from the Phoenix border unit of the Pomsta ("Revenge") brigade, working alongside adjacent units, repelled a Russian assault during which the Russians deployed dozens of armoured vehicles.

The border guards say there had not been a breakthrough attempt of this scale in their area of responsibility for a long time. The Russians had been amassing the remnants of their "greatness" for a long time, but all the scrap metal ended up burned in the fields and along the tree lines of Donetsk Oblast, the Ukrainian troops added.

In total, Phoenix border unit drone pilots destroyed nine tanks, two armoured vehicles, three Grad multiple-launch rocket systems that were intended to provide cover for the advancing Russian vehicles, and several dozen Russian personnel.
