Romania downs another drone that entered its airspace

Romanian Air Force jets shot down another drone on the morning of 25 July after it violated the country's airspace. This is the second such incident in two days.

Quote: "This morning at 08:30, another drone was shot down in Romanian airspace."

Details: Dan specified that the UAV had been downed by a Romanian pilot flying an F-16 fighter jet, approximately 10 km west of the town of Sfântu Gheorghe.

Background:

On 24 July, Romanian forces used a fighter jet for the first time to shoot down a drone after it penetrated deep into the country's territory.
Senior Romanian military officials reported that the downed drone had been visually identified as a Shahed-type UAV.
