Details: DeepState reported that Russian forces have advanced near Artilne, updating its interactive map to show roughly 5 sq km under Russian control.

Commenting on DeepState's report of the Russian advance, Trehubov also said Ukraine's defence forces are working to contain the attempted incursion and kill the Russian troops.

Background:

  • On 23 July, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported that Russian forces were attempting to expand the zone of active hostilities in northern Kharkiv Oblast. It said Russian troops had stepped up pressure on the South Slobozhanshchyna front, within the defence zone of the 1st Hart Mobile Border Guard Detachment.
  • Small Russian infantry groups were attempting to infiltrate the area near the settlement of Artilne.
