Ambassadors in Ukraine have begun meeting focused on restoring peace, acting foreign minister says

The heads of Ukrainian diplomatic missions abroad gathered in Ukraine on Monday 3 August for a meeting that opened with a visit to the site of Russian attacks in Kyiv's Lukianivka and a tribute to Ukraine's fallen heroes on Independence Square.

Details: The Foreign Ministry said the meeting of the heads of Ukrainian diplomatic missions is scheduled to run until 7 August.

Sybiha said this year's conference is centred on two key priorities: restoring peace and promoting Ukraine's leadership.

"We were also pleased to be accompanied by this year's guest of honour, Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Minister of Moldova, Mihail Popșo," he added.

"Looking forward to productive and meaningful working sessions," the minister concluded.
