Russian forces launched four guided aerial bombs at Sumy on the night of 5-6 August, leaving at least 12 people injured and causing extensive damage.

Quote from Hryhorov: "The enemy has carried out four guided aerial bomb strikes on the city's civilian infrastructure.
Damage has been caused to apartment blocks, non-residential buildings and infrastructure facilities near the epicentres of the strikes. Hundreds of windows have been shattered."
Details: According to Hyhorov, at least two people were initially reported injured.
Update: Ukraine's National Police reported that 12 people have been injured in the overnight airstrikes. Information on the number of casualties and the aftermath of the attack is being confirmed.
Background: On the night of 3-4 August, Russian forces struck civilian infrastructure in Sumy with guided aerial bombs, killing two girls aged five and 10 and an elderly woman. Four others sought medical assistance.
