US Senate begins debate on "Graham bill" on Russia sanctions, vote expected today

Details: The Senate began debating the Russia sanctions bill co-authored by Lindsey Graham, which President Donald Trump has indicated he is willing to sign, on Thursday evening Kyiv time.
Senators taking the floor have noted that Russian terror against Ukrainian cities is intensifying and it is vital to make it harder for Russia to obtain funds to continue the war.
Kateryna Lisunova, a former Voice of America correspondent who now works as a journalist with Razom for Ukraine, has reported that the final vote could take place in less than half an hour – at noon Washington time (19:00 Kyiv time).
She pointed out that this is the Senate's last sitting before the recess.
