EU contributes additional €30m to Ukraine Energy Support Fund

The European Union has contributed an additional €30 million to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund.

Details: This brings the EU's total contribution to the fund to €279 million, Shmyhal said.

"The funds provided through this financial instrument help us restore energy infrastructure damaged by russian attacks, purchase critical equipment for our energy companies, and ensure reliable energy supply, particularly to critical infrastructure," he noted.

Luxembourg recently made an additional contribution to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund.

Denmark also recently contributed over €10 million to the fund.
