Five injured in morning Russian drone attack on village in Kharkiv Oblast

Five people have been injured after Russian forces attacked the village of Verbivka in the Izium district in Kharkiv Oblast with jet-powered drones on the morning of 13 August.

Quote from the Prosecutor's Office: "At around 05:00 on 13 August, Russian forces attacked the village of Verbivka in the Izium district in Kharkiv Oblast. Early reports indicate that the Russians used jet-powered drones."

Details: The Prosecutor's Office reported two strikes – one on a non-residential building and the other on a house.

Two men and two women sustained blast injuries. Another woman was diagnosed as suffering from shock.

Karabanov said Russian forces had struck the centre of the village. The attack completely destroyed a house and a non-residential building. The blast wave also shattered windows in another residential building. Three cars were damaged as well.

Law enforcement officers have launched an investigation into a war crime.
