According to BelTA, the exchange included several pensioners and a 25-year-old man. The report did not specify whether the man was transferred to Ukraine or Russia.

"The Regional Delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Russia and Belarus is accompanying the humanitarian mission. Belarusian ambulance crews are on duty at the checkpoint. Paramedics stand ready to provide any necessary medical assistance or consultation to the citizens," writes BelTA.

According to the news outlet, "in recent years, Belarus has hosted more than 70 exchange operations between Russia and Ukraine".
