Ukrainian air defences destroyed 90 out of the 112 Russian drones launched on the night of 13-14 August.

Details: From 18:00 on 13 August, Russian forces have attacked Ukraine with 112 Shahed (some jet-powered) and Gerbera attack drones, Banderol loitering munitions and Parodiya decoy UAVs from the Russian cities of Kursk, Oryol and Millerovo as well as temporarily occupied Donetsk and Hvardiiske in Crimea.

Aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare assets, unmanned systems units and mobile fire groups from Ukraine's defence forces have been involved in repelling the attack.

Early reports indicated that as of 08:00, Ukrainian air defence forces had destroyed or jammed 90 Russian drones of various types in the country's north, south and east.

Hits have been recorded at 11 locations and the fall of downed aerial assets (debris) at six locations.

The attack is ongoing, as several Russian drones are still in the airspace.
