Russia attacks Ukraine with more than 150 drones: strikes recorded at 16 locations

Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 152 drones and loitering munitions of various types on the night of 14-15 August.

Details: Russian forces deployed Shahed (some jet-powered) and Gerbera attack drones, Banderol loitering munitions and Parodiya decoy UAVs.

Early reports indicated that as of 09:00, Ukrainian air defence forces had destroyed or jammed 124 Russian drones of various types and three Banderol loitering munitions, for a total of 127 aerial assets.

Hits by aerial assets have been recorded at 16 locations and the fall of downed aerial assets (debris) at one location.

The attack is ongoing, as several Russian drones are still in the airspace.

Background: The Russian Defence Ministry claimed that Russian air defences had intercepted and destroyed 598 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones on the night of 14-15 August.
