The upgraded bomber can carry up to 4 kg of payload. Depending on the payload weight, it can cover 10-17 km, with a flight time of 20-50 minutes.

The UAV has also been fitted with an active cooling system for its video system following feedback from users.

"The new version remains compatible with the Lucky Strike-1 ground station, meaning units already using the platform can operate the Lucky Strike-1.5 without replacing their existing ground equipment," the company said.

The increased payload capacity has expanded the drone's range of applications. According to PG Robotics, it can be used for light logistics, infantry support and, in some configurations, striking enemy targets. The UAV can also be used for remote mining, carrying signal repeaters, attacking loitering drones and locating and recovering UAVs on the battlefield.

"The upgraded version also allows for the use of a four-barrel shotgun," the press service said.

The company explained that the upgraded Lucky Strike-1.5 bomber drone can be equipped with a drum-type release system carrying six mines, or with three aluminium cassette modules containing three mines each, using the UAV's maximum payload capacity. The drone can also be fitted with three hardpoints.

According to PG Robotics, the developers next plan to upgrade the Lucky Strike-1 series with an enhanced video-link system and night-operation capability.
