A warehouse storing products of the cosmetics brand Yves Rocher in Ukraine was significantly damaged as a result of a large-scale Russian attack on 20 August.

Details: "We are temporarily suspending online orders and are working on recovery," the statement reads.

Customers who have already placed orders were promised updates on their status once the consequences of the attack have been assessed.

Yves Rocher boutiques continue to operate, but the product range may be limited, the company added.

Notably, the French brand Yves Rocher continues to operate in Russia.

Background:

  • A warehouse belonging to the Fora grocery store chain in Martusivka in Kyiv Oblast, where fresh produce was stored, was damaged as a result of a Russian strike.
  • Food warehouses and Red Cross facilities in Boryspil were damaged in an overnight Russian attack, with fires still being extinguished at the sites of impact.
  • A warehouse containing goods for Varus supermarkets in Boryspil was damaged in a Russian missile strike on the night of 19-20 August.
