Last night, our deep strikes hit an oil refinery in Perm, more than 1,600 km from the border, and the Marinovka military air base in Volgograd Oblast. There are also results in the Black Sea."

Details: The president also reported confirmed results from previous strikes: a Russian Su-34 aircraft was damaged at the Akhtubinsk airfield, around 600 km from the front line. In Primorsko-Akhtarsk, almost 180 km away, a site used to store, prepare and launch attack drones that Russia uses to strike Ukrainians was hit.

Background: On 21 August, drones attacked the Russian city of Perm, home to the Lukoil-Permnefteorgsintez oil refinery. Air defence was active and an air-raid warning was issued in the city.
