Energy facilities in Odesa Oblast significantly damaged by Russian attack

Russian forces significantly damaged several energy facilities belonging to DTEK Odesa Electric Networks, a local branch of Ukraine's largest private energy company, during the large-scale attack on the night of 21-22 August.

Details: In a statement, DTEK said the damage to the energy facilities is significant and it will take time to restore the equipment to working order.

DTEK added that there may be disruptions in the operation of critical infrastructure facilities.

Background: Russia attacked Ukraine with various types of missiles, Banderol loitering munitions and drones on the night of 21-22 August, with Kyiv and Odesa oblasts the main targets.
