Russian forces struck a distribution warehouse belonging to Avrora, a multi-market retail chain, on 22 August.

Details: All staff were in a shelter at the time of the strike, and no casualties from the attack have been reported.

Background:

  • The Russians significantly damaged several energy facilities belonging to DTEK Odesa Electric Networks, a local branch of Ukraine's largest private energy company, during the large-scale attack on the night of 21-22 August.
  • On the night of 21-22 August, Russia attacked Ukraine with various types of missiles, Banderol loitering munitions and drones, with Kyiv and Odesa oblasts being the main targets.
