Russian drone attacks gas workers in Kharkiv Oblast, injuring one

A Russian UAV attacked gas workers in Kharkiv Oblast as they were repairing damage caused by an earlier strike, injuring one worker and damaging two gas service vehicles.

Quote from Zadorenko: "Yesterday at around 21:10, the Russians struck gas workers with an FPV drone as they were repairing damage to the gas distribution network caused by an earlier attack in Derhachi."

Details: One of the gas workers, a 53-year-old resident of Derhachi, was injured, sustaining a closed fracture to his left shoulder. He was taken to hospital in Kharkiv in a moderate condition. His injuries are not life-threatening.

Two gas service vehicles were also damaged in the strike.

Zadorenko said that the supply of gas to homes has not yet been restored due to the security situation and that residents will be kept informed of developments.

Background: Earlier, Ukrainian troops downed a Russian drone that was attacking an emergency repair crew from Zaporizhzhiaoblenergo, a distribution network operator, in Zaporizhzhia Oblast. This is the fifth time that defence forces escort teams have saved the lives of repair workers.
