Drone attack and strike on oil refinery reported in Russia's Leningrad Oblast

Russian authorities in Leningrad Oblast reported an attack by more than 60 drones and a strike on the Kirishi oil refinery.

Details: At 02:06, Drozdenko reported a "UAV threat" and possible reductions in mobile internet speeds.

At 03:41, he claimed that 30 drones had been shot down over Leningrad Oblast.

Meanwhile, monitoring Telegram channels reported a strike on the Kirishi oil refinery.

Update: Drozdenko later reported that 42 drones had supposedly been shot down over Leningrad Oblast and confirmed a strike on the oil refinery in Kirishi, which caused a fire.

On Saturday morning, Drozdenko said 62 UAVs had been detected.

Background: On the night of 4-5 May, Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces, the Security Service of Ukraine and the Special Operations Forces struck the Kirishi oil refinery and the Kirishi oil pumping station in Leningrad Oblast.
