Drone carrying explosives found in Romania near border with Moldova
On the morning of 1 September, a local resident found an unidentified drone containing an explosive warhead in a field near the village of Viișoara in Romania's Vaslui County, around 30 km from the border with Moldova.

Details: The area was cordoned off. A bomb disposal team from the Romanian Intelligence Service (SRI) was dispatched to the scene. Early reports from the security services indicate that the drone contains explosives.
The origin of the drone and the circumstances in which it ended up in the field are currently unknown. No casualties or damage were reported as a result of the drone crash.
The Prosecutor's Office attached to the Iași Court of Appeal will investigate the incident to establish the circumstances and determine the appropriate legal response.
