Blackout hits Mykolaiv and Kherson

Power supply has been completely cut off in the city of Mykolaiv and the Kherson hromada .

Trams have stopped running in Mykolaiv. Trolleybuses with an autonomous range of 20 km are operating on routes.

In comments under Sienkevych's post, users added that the water supply has also stopped in Mykolaiv.

Sienkevych said he will post details as soon as more information becomes available.

Shanko reported that if the power cut in Kherson lasts for a long time, invincibility centres will operate around the clock. People can charge mobile devices there, use communications and receive other basic services.

Update as of 20:20: Reports indicate that a blackout has hit the Kherson hromada.

Previously: Kyiv has built up food and drinking water stocks in case of prolonged power cuts. The city will be able to organise hot meals for 25,000 people.
