Quote: "This is no coincidence, but part of Moscow's systematic terror campaign against American businesses and economic interests. It comes just a few weeks after an attack on another American-owned company in Sumy Oblast."

Details: At least two people were killed in the strike on the plant, which sustained serious damage.

Sybiha said that such strikes highlight the urgent need to strengthen Ukraine's air defence as well as increase pressure on the Russian regime to force it to end the war and begin constructive diplomatic negotiations.

Background: Russian forces attacked a food processing business in Dnipro twice on 10 September. Two people were killed and five injured. Dnipro Mayor Borys Filatov said that the Russians had struck the Oleina oil plant, which is part of US company Bunge.
