Ukraine's air defence downs 85 out of 108 Russian drones: hits recorded at seven locations

Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 108 Shahed (including some jet-powered) and Gerbera attack drones as well as Parodiya decoy UAVs on the night of 13-14 September.

Details: Early reports indicated that as of 08:00, Ukrainian air defence forces had destroyed or jammed 85 Shahed, Gerbera and other types of drones.

Hits by aerial assets have been recorded at seven locations.

Aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare assets, unmanned systems units and mobile fire groups from Ukraine's defence forces have been involved in repelling the attack.

The attack is ongoing, as several Russian drones are still in the airspace.
