Russia reports large-scale drone attack across 12 regions

Russia's Defence Ministry has claimed that Russian air defence intercepted and destroyed 288 fixed-wing drones between 08:00 and 20:00 on 19 September.

Details: The ministry claimed that Russian air defence intercepted and destroyed 288 Ukrainian drones during this period.

Drones were detected over Belgorod, Kursk, Bryansk, Kaluga, Oryol, Tula, Ryazan, Nizhny Novgorod and Vladimir oblasts, as well as the Moscow region and Krasnodar Krai.

Drones were also detected over occupied Crimea and the Black Sea. The Russian ministry provided no further details.
