Operation Vivaldi: Two villages liberated from Russian occupation, another fully under Ukrainian control

The 3rd Army Corps has liberated the villages of Shandryholove and Derylove in Donetsk Oblast and established full control over Drobysheve as part of its Vivaldi offensive operation.

Details: Biletskyi said that during the second stage of the operation, Ukrainian troops regained control of another 40 sq km of territory.

Overall, during the two stages of Vivaldi, the Third Corps and attached units regained control of 125 sq km of territory, 50 sq km of which were liberated.

Quote: "Shandryholove and Derylove have been liberated. Drobysheve is under full Ukrainian control. It is worth noting that Shandryholove is a critical point for both our troops and the enemy."

Details: The corps said Russian forces lost around 800 troops during the second stage and more than 3,000 during the two stages of the operation overall.

Operation Vivaldi is ongoing.

Background: On 15 September, the 3rd Army Corps reported mopping up 75 sq km and liberating a further 10 sq km as part of counteroffensive operations in the northern part of Donetsk Oblast.
