Railway station in Kyiv not damaged – Ukrainian Railways

The state-run railway operator Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukrainian Railways) has reported that the Kyiv railway station sustained no damage in a Russian attack on 23 September.

Quote: "Regarding a strike near Central Railway Station in Kyiv, we can report that the station is not damaged."

Details: The company also urged everyone to remain in shelters until the all-clear is issued.

Background:

• On 23 September, Kyiv was attacked by yet another wave of Russian drones. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko mentioned a UAV crashing onto the premises of a transport infrastructure facility in the Holosiivskyi district. He also reported that a drone had fallen onto the roof of a non-residential building.
• Eyewitnesses have reported smoke rising near the railway station. Users on social media mention a fire at a market near the station.
