The number of people injured in Russian attacks on Kyiv throughout 23 September has risen to 45. Two people were killed.

Details: In the evening, the mayor reported a repeat strike on the site of a non-residential building in Kyiv's Pecherskyi district.

Background:

• Russian forces attacked Kyiv almost continuously throughout 23 September. It was reported earlier that two people had been killed and 43 injured in the Russian attacks on the capital.
• Prosecutors have reported that in the course of the day, Russian drones attacked petrol stations, a business centre, an office building, premises belonging to a pharmaceutical company, a former market building and premises near the railway station. Fires broke out at the sites of the strikes, and parked vehicles were also damaged.
• The prosecutors said Russian forces also carried out repeat strikes on the same targets.
• The Russian attack caused internet disruptions affecting around 100,000 customers in the city of Kyiv and Kyiv Oblast.
• Russian forces also struck the Darnytsia pharmaceutical plant in Kyiv. No casualties were reported there.
